Laura is a native Calgarian and received her education degree through the University of Calgary. Before moving to Edge School, she taught with the Calgary Board of Education for over 25 years. Throughout her career, Laura has specialized in Grade 4-9 education, with a passion for Humanities. Nothing makes her happier than an intriguing short story or settling down with a good book!
Having two kids involved in competitive hockey and gymnastics, Laura understands the balance required when juggling academics and athletics. When she’s not driving her kids to their events, she enjoys reading, baking and cuddling with her ‘schnoodle’ named Winnie.
